Birth Doula Fees.
My fee reflects my experience and the exclusivity of me being on call for only you! During this time I have my phone on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. From 38 weeks of your pregnancy until your baby is born (for some this has been past 43 weeks).
Experienced Doulas in the UK charge between £450 and £1000.
I offer a sliding scale of payment inclusive of mileage. Call for more details.
There are circumstances whereby I can spread the fee over a longer period of time. Payment terms can be flexible to ensure this service is inclusive to everyone. Doula UK have a hardship fund so no woman can be excluded from having a doula for financial reasons.
Price includes:

2 antenatal visits, more can be arranged at your convenience as can support at midwife or consultant appointments with you: Continuous support throughout birth until you and your baby are settled. I can be at a birth for 6 hours or 36 hrs (longest). I am likely to come to you long before the Midwife does or you decide to go to hospital.

2 postnatal visits: I will guarantee to be on call for the birth 2 weeks before and after your due date.

I am happy to offer further support after birth (postnatal) at - £10 per hour.

It is important that we are both happy with each other before working together.
For everyone there will be a doula with whom you have the rapport that just feels right. We advise you meet a few doulas to get that person who creates the right balance for your family.
